Winter Festival Event: On January 21, 2023, the Heart Gallery Big Bend participated in the Winter Festival event with Kids Street Urgent Care.

“Did you know #givingtuesday2022 takes place on November 29th this year? Help us make holiday wishes come true- donate to our #GivingTuesday campaign to gift each of our 31 children a gift card to purchase their most desired wish list items.”
Virtual Interest Meeting– Heart Gallery virtually was on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 2pm and/or 6pm to learn about how to help children in the Big Bend area find their forever homes.
Word of the South Festival – On April 9, 2022, Heart Gallery Big Bend went to the Word of the South Festival to show and teach people what we do and how to get involved! As well as promote our children that are available for adoption.
“Word of [South], a festival of literature and music, is a unique blend of writers and musicians and an exploration of the relationship between the two disciplines. Beginning with our first festival in 2015, the festival showcases authors who write about music, musicians who also are authors, authors and musicians trading places, and everything in between. We’re especially proud of our “mu-aushups”: authors and musicians appearing together (some of whom have never met), as well as our cookbook authors, kids programming and musical performances of every genre–we’ve got gospel and HipHop, pop and bluegrass, jazz and country, Americana and R&B. Bring the whole family, and come see what’s down South!”
Black History Month Celebration – On February 22, 2022, Heart Gallery Big Bend went to the celebration to promote the gallery.
“Black History Month celebrates the contributions of African-American heroes with the Black History Month events in Tallahassee. This annual celebration is marked with loads of interesting events; from luncheons to art lessons, there are too many things to do on Black History Month in Tallahassee. Be a part of the biggest African-American History Month Parade in Tallahassee, volunteer or contribute your services at a church near you; do anything and everything that celebrates the African-American culture.”
Lucky Goat Coffee Fundraiser- We provided pick up and/or shipping for the coffee bags.
