Layla is a beautiful African American teenaged girl. She is very social and can communicate well. Her previous caregivers have stated that she “has a good heart and has good intentions”. She wants to graduate high school and has previously stated that she is interested in owning her own business. She has dreams and aspirations for her life – one of which is to become a nurse and help the elderly.
She enjoys spending time with her friends and going to the beach. Layla takes pride in her appearance and loves to change up her appearance, specifically her hair. Her hair style and color can vary from curly black, to straight burgundy, sometimes a light gingery blonde in braids, and even teal blue! She also enjoys wearing false lashes. Layla takes pride in her appearance and it definitely shows.
Layla is outspoken and is unafraid to give her opinion. She knows what she wants and knows how to get it. She is funny and laidback, though she does not let others walk all over her.
As of Easter Sunday (April 9th) 2023, Layla has become a Christian and prays over things in her life. She enjoys visiting and attending church. She now prays for a good life after she is discharged from her current placement.
